This Wiki contains specific information for each context that you encounter when using //Git Winch//. This guide is best used from inside the //Git Winch client application.// But it can be used as a guide that you can browse independently too.

=====How to use this guide from inside the application=====

Firstly, you must first install //Git Winch Client Application// (See our main website: https://gitwinch.com ) and it should be working on your computer.

To reach the correct page inside this help system, first check the following inside the //**gitwinch.ini**// file. //That file is in the same folder where you installed Git Winch Client application.//

The entry for //HelpSite=// in that .ini file should be as follows:

  HelpSite=https://help.gitwinch.com

Also, the entry for //ShowHints=// in that .ini file should be:

  ShowHints=1

The above changes can be done using any text editor, such as Windows Notepad.

The above process has to be done only once. Once that is done, every time //Git Winch// is used, this website will be used to give you detailed help. 

Once you start the //Git Winch Client Application// do this: Inside the application, **Press F1 whenever you see some status message** (at the bottom of the //Git Winch// application) and you would get transported to the correct page inside this guide. It will expand on that small status message and provide you a lot more details.
