======Translations====== Once you extract the zip file containing //Git Winch// (from our official site, or a custom-bundle that was properly packed) you will see that there is a folder named //translations// present in the same folder as the application. That folder contains files of this type: //en.translations.txt// The letters "en" in en.translations.txt indicate the translations for the //English// language. That is always present. **If the translation file for the currently set language is absent, then //Git Winch// will not start!** You can separately download such translations files for other languages from our main website. For e.g. If you want the system dialogs to be shown in Malayalam, download //ml.translations.txt// from our website. //Make sure that you are downloading ONLY from our website. Else there can be inexplicable errors.// If you want to change the language; there is a setting in the file //gitwinch.ini// which you have to change. Look under the [System] section of the ini file and change this. For example; if you wrote the following line in that file, //Git Winch// will load the Malayalam translations file. trTranslate=ml **Volunteers wanted**\\ If you want to volunteer to translate the messages in //en.translations.txt// into other languages contact us admin@gitwinch.com ... We will be grateful and can even reward you to the best of our capability. ---- [[concepts?do=export_xhtml|Concepts]] | [[topics?do=export_xhtml|Table of Contents]]
