There is a special sub-folder named templates which is in the Git Winch Client Application's folder. You should keep copies of files that you use in your office. For example; you may have a standard Word file which contains the office header. Or a DXF file that contains the office logo and title panel. Keep those files in this templates folder.
When you create a new file in any folder after that, Git Winch will check if there is a template file with that extension. If so, it will copy over that template as the new file you just created. This is very useful to achieve a uniform set of files – for example; you would be sure that all the Word files created using Git Winch would be having your office letterhead.
